Arkham on Parade by kjmarch Arkham on Parade by kjmarch
I drew this picture a couple of months ago during winter break with high aspirations to get it all colored within a week or so. However, the task became somewhat daunting and I never got around to it. So, here are the initial inks for the piece. Maybe some color will be seen in the future...

Also, if anyone would like a stab at coloring this, feel free to go for it!

I'm guessing that the skinny bald dude is Riddler? He's the only one I'm uncertain about.
Anyway, great picture! I might even take a stab at coloring it.

I know the feeling. I loved Arkham Asylum to death! I can't wait for the second one, but it's not coming out 'till sometime in 2011.

OH MY GOSH. When I saw this, I was struck by the details and the obvious amount of time you put into it. It's literally amazing. If I may ask, was this done in pen? It looks like it. I think I'll most definitely take a stab at coloring it, as well -- it's too awesome not to! I shall totally favorite.

Thank you very much! Like i have said before, this was indeed a labor of love. I had been playing lots of Arkham Asylum and reading the graphic novel that went by the same name and was just filled with that Batman fervor! And please, feel free to color it to your heart's content! :D

Ok i dont pretend to be a huge batman buff so some of the characters i dont know. The guy next to clayface, the skull face dude and the handstand person. Who are they?

Other than that i know them and love the different interpertations. Pretty creative i must say.

Let me see if I can provide some clarification:
The guy next to clayface = Viktor Zzaz
Skull face = Black Mask
Handstander = Harley Quinn (she's wearing a theatre mask like her beloved Joker)

Thanks for taking an interest :D

Oh dear, as a friend who has undergone similar pant wetting issues, I highly suggest that you get that looked at by a locally trained physician. Butt crying is a serious problem in this day and age. Also, THANKS! :D

You're quite welcome. :D I actually do know who Deadshot is, being an aficionado of comic books myself; I just never related him to the Arkham crowd. Very cool, steam-punk redesign!

Hah yeah, while drawing i couldn't decide whether or not to put him in. But i had the nifty idea to make him all steampunky (good call by the way:)), and just couldn't resist throwing him in with the group!

Thanks! I'm really pleased with how he came out. Instead of giving him white face paint, i decided to give him a sort of grinning theatre mask in order to hide his chemically burned face! I wanted to give him that air of grandiose and eccentricity that often comes with overt acting and theatrical arts
